Hi Guys,
Last week Scott signed me up as a Moderator for the Australian forum on Ducati.MS. I thought I'd jump in and give a brief intro.
My name is James. I live in Newcastle NSW. I moved here in 2000 from Melbourne where I grew up. I've been working at the RAAF Base at Williamtown since then where I design airframe repairs for the aircraft. Currently working for Brittish Aerospace (BAE SYSTEMS) working on the HAWK Mk127.
I have a 2000 Monster 750 and a 2001 996.
Recently some friends and I created a new Ducati riding club called the Hunter Ducati Owners Group. It's still in the early days, but we hope to grow it into a tight knit group of friends who enjoy riding and attending social events. The address to our site is attached, http://www.hunterdogs.org/
I've been a member of the Ducati.MS site for a while and I try to contribute where I can. I perform all the service work on my M750 and 996 and so I try to help people out that have questions related to these specific machines. I also have quite a bit of knowledge on carbon fiber construction techniques and I posted an article in the Hall of Wisdom section on how to make your own parts some time ago. It's know held in the archives.
Anyway, hope to get to know you all a bit better in the future.
Kind Regards,
James.
