I want upgrade the brakes on my Paul Smart, but with those wire wheels, there doesn't appear to be a whole lot of clearance. Anyone made any progress in this area?

thanks and best regards, John

Geometry changes? I must be missing something...why would adding width change geometry? I guess I'm too stupid to get headaches, doh.

That sounds pretty pricey... and then you have to deal with geometry changes...

John, we have two very similar threads going here. Just suggested slim 6-piston Harrison calipers; see more at http://www.billet.co.uk/ They should bolt right up if the mounting holes on the SportClassics are 40mm. Give Harrison a ring or drop them a line. Don't know if you're familiar with them, but these calipers are excellent: great look, great fit & finish and most important: great stopping power.
