Hi guys,

I'm new to the Monster forum but have been over on superbikes for a couple of years (I have a 748). Just bought my wife a 695 as a surprise gift (giving it to her next Friday) and wanted to get some advice on some crash saving mods.

She's a good dirt rider but I'm worried about low speed spills. The bike has crash knobs on the frame (see pic) - is it worth adding something to help protect the pipes in case of a tip over? Are bar end sliders worth having?
Any other suggestions?

Throw some frame sliders on just for piece of mind. For dink overs the side pipes do a suprising good job protecting everything - ask me I know. Bike is light enough so the handle bars wont bend unless its dropped hard. Might want to screw the handle bar limits stops out a bit just to add extra clearance between the grips and the tank.
