I know its not Ducati, But seeing as I am a fellow Ducatisti with 2x Desmos im sure we can still help this German heap out anyway.

The BMW R1100RT is my Dads and he's just changed the Hall effect sensor and when he put it back together it was running ok for 5 mins then died and now wont start. I've put it back together for him over and over again, however we still cant get it running.

Th one thing I did notice, was the Pulley wheel no longer had the metal sensor cup thing attached to the inside anymore. Im wondering if it just the pulley wheel spinning and not spinning the timing cup with it (there is a locating tab, but its small and it can be moved side to side.)

Help anybody?
