I'm in the same boat. My bike came to me with a 23/11 ratio drive (a genuine Veglia unit), but I'd like to replace it with a correct 20/10. I've not had any luck finding one anywhere, NOS or used. The only option seems to be the reproduction ones, and comments on them range from "feels cheap and broke almost immediately" to "feels cheap, but works fine". Since none of the repros have any identifying marks on the housing, it's impossible to tell if they are all the same, or if any of them are actually better than others...

Bob, that's good to know. I'll be waiting to hear how well it works for you once installed also. Amusing that the seller on eBay offers a volume discount. Hopefully that's not an indicator of it being typical to need more than one

Just received one of the eBay $70 speedo drives from India this week. There was some drama with the shipping, but after a month or so that's finally sorted out. I should have it installed and out for a test ride this weekend and can report back.

Short ride this evening, and it works fine. Seems accurate (much more so than the Veglia 23/11 unit that my bike had before) based on indicated speed compared to radar, and odometer reading over a known distance. Thickness seems slightly less than the Veglia unit; my bike had two clearance washers between the R fork leg and the Veglia drive unit, but needed just one with the eBay unit. Happy so far.
