Does anybody have experience with the reproduction Veglia speedometer drives being produced in India? Good quality or junk? Any source of leftover veglia drives (20/10)?

Thanks Bob C.

Picture attached: Many years ago the little drive tab broke off so I got a replacement drive. The original drive was stamped 20/10 while the new drive was stamped 23/11. The different ratio made the bike a little faster but my gas milage dropped:). I lived with it like that for a long time. Now that I'm refreshing the bike I thought i could dismantle the drives and put the new tab onto the original drive. When I took the original drive apart I found the original ring gear all chewed up which is most likely what caused the tab to break in the first place. Would like to just replace it all with a new, correctly geared drive.

The new Speedometer Drive from India arrived yesterday. At first glance it look promising. The case does not have any markings at all but the stamped metal backing is marked 20/10 which is the correct ratio for my application The back side looks like a direct copy of the veglia right down to the retaining clip.
Operation seems smooth with no roughness. Once the bike is back together I report again as to how it works.

Purchased from TRUSTWORTHY_AUTOPARTS on E-Bay $69.55 including shipping.
