Best diecast Ducati models

I would appreciate some leads on this. I'm interested in picking up 4 or 5, possibly more of my favorite diecast Ducati replicas for my office. I see some stuff on Ebay, but with unknown quality. I would like high quality diecast and I'm willing to pay extra for it. I'm sure you folks can offer some ideas here.

Go to the ducati website, look under sponsors, you will see companies that make replicas. 1:18 is the most common, 1:6 looks the best. my $0.02
Looked all over the sight with no luck.
John - take a look at minichamps. They cost money though, often 1,000% higher than other makers.
i have a few minichamps... they are great
minichamps are cool but expensive as shit and only 1/18 I personally perfer the miaso 1/12 or new ray 1/12 but i only buy the race replicas cause the street version looks retarted i have yet to see a good street replica

Minichamps only makes 1/12 and 1/6. If you are seeing 1/18, that's not Minichamps.
We carry quite a few choices....minichamps are the nicest but the Maisto's are decent for their price. Give Jon or Sonny a call and they can let you know what they have on hand this week. We also carry some "non" Ducati's as well.

Thanks Dave,
I'll do that tomorrow. That way I can send a money order instead of using the card.
i too have been looking.. but cannot find any 2005 999. they are all 03/04 models.

anyone know where i can find models of an 05 999 (bip would be nice too). bigger the better, but any will do.

thanks.

In my office I have diecasts of many bikes I have had [F4i, R1, 998, 900 SS SP, Vespas, to name a few]. You are wise to want to get some for your office. It's relaxing and therapeutic to be able to see your bikes while working like a dog.

Personally, I prefer the larger diecasts as I enjoy seeing the bike detail "from the distance" in my office [I have them all sitting on top of an amoire, so when I am sitting at the desk I can look up and across the room at the bikes]. I have some 1:12 scale, others 1:6.

My 998 is 1:6 scale, which is a BIG model. But it looks striking in the office.

I am NOT a model collector, so I have never put a lot of money into the diecasts. I find that the New Ray diecasts look fine enough for me, for my purposes anyway. I duly note that such won't ever be valuable or collectors items, but like I said, I want them just to enjoy from the distance, so detail is not all that important. My 998 looks awesome on display in the office. People always notice it and comment.

Minichamps are nice too, by the way.

we have this in stock, they look great (Some maisto models look retarded but those race bikes look outstanding!)

I'm buying about 8 of the Maistos from Ducati of Seattle and asking for pricing on a couple Minichamps. I like the Maistos for one big reason, their small and I can fit them on some office shelves I have. I'll have my brother build some custom cabinetry for the Minichamps, I want to set it up whereby I can accent the workmanship with halogen lights. I plan on making the cabinetry large enough to accomodate a collection over time. When I die I'll give them to someone who will appreciate the collection, no way they will go to my wife or kids. If they did you would see them on the driveway at the next garage sale.
i have a 999 xerox and a desmo 16 by newray, its a great looking model, comparable almost to a minichamps
uumm,
I'll check into Newray too.
