Test your voltage across the battery (with a multimeter)- if it doesn't go to around 14 volts, then it's either your stator or RR (Rectifier and voltage Regulator - all in one unit) that have died (very likely). If it does go to 14 volts (with a few revs), then possibly a fault in the wiring to the warning light (unlikely).battery light comes on and off for no reason.new battery installed.what should i check its a 1992 750 ss
Look through the previous 5-6 (maybe more!) pages in this forum for threads titled 'Battery' or 'RR' problems... There's a few of them, and they'll give you all the info you need to figure out the rest, and what to get (NOT a genuine Ducati RR!).
