There's a heap of threads on this & similar electrical & charging faults in these forums if you do some specific searchs..type in "charging problems" "regulator /rectifier " for example..
Ducatis are notorious for having regulator /rectifier issues & under-rated wiring..So my first step would a simple test via voltmeter on the battery terminals & confirm that the bikes actually charging the battery..should give a reading around 13.5 >14 volts whilst revving @ 3000rpm..If that checks out then a visual inspection of the wiring looking for signs of frayed or burnt wiring ...IE: wires going in & out of the regulator../ battery terminals / starter motor / earth points onto the frame etc..
Its a good way to get to know your way around the bike & you'll be glad you did & learn to troubleshoot easier...in conjunction with references & articles in the forum
