Just wanted to pass this along. For those who have made the aluminum switch it is not relevant.

Kosta,
We used to sell both a kit with steel cored friction plates and one with aluminum cores. The aluminum became much more in demand and that is all we make now. Also, many people run aluminum baskets and the newer Ducati's started coming with aluminum baskets which also increased demand for the aluminum. While technically, the steel is stronger as far as the plate tabs go, the aluminum works fine. In fact, we make our Ducati clutch basket with stainless steel inserts to prevent grooving from the clutch plate tabs and it works very well with our clutch kit.

Thank you for your interest in our products.
