The more 1098 owners I meet the more worried I get about the 1098 reliability.
I am aware of 5 1098's in my area; 3 of them have had issues with their bikes. Mine has been flawless so far, so I am trying to understand how many of these bikes are experiencing issues that require a visit to the dealer.

only recall stuff. 4500 miles so far.

although the clutch has been acting up. like it's slipping on take offs. i've been told to take the clutch plates out and coat them with lithium grease, clean them off and stick them back in there.

My 1098s is awesome. I ride it hard and it begs for more.

Aside from the usual recall stuff I had a problem with the chain, but that's DID's fault, not Ducati's.

I live in kitchener so not that far from you and my 1098s has been flawless. im upset with myself for have purchased a gsxr600 and an r6 before buying a ducati. what a waste of money!

18,000 miles. 1 problem. Small crack/leak in radiator, dealer replaced in 2 days. Awesome bike!!!

that seems to be the case, I know of 3 yellow ones, no problems and two red ones with all kinds of problems. Coincidence? I don't think so.
