Conflict of events

OK for tomorrow nite, but Sunday is AFM racing at Infineon. I love AFM racing, it is cool and reasonable. I know a lot of racers there and I missed the season opener at Buttonwillow. Is there any way we can schedule the airbase tour for Saturday. The flames have begun.

You guys/gals ought to consider going to the AFM races. A bunch of them are piting together and its a great hangout between races to shoot the bull and socialize. They are great people and if you saw on the DOG website, we support them and their efforts. AFM races are cheap to attend and you have unlimited mobility of the track. I literally drove my truck completely around the track, enabling different looks.

BTW, thanks Galaxy, what your doing is great stuff. I think most of us here love things that go fast, you think?

I can't make Wednesday because I have an intramural volleyball game at the base gym. My bike is in the shop, brake light wire melted. But I hope they fix it before sunday. If not I will be watching the World SBK starting at 8am and the AMA at 1pm. Sure would like to put some faces with these names. Maybe next time.

Sorry, I didn't know there was so much good racing on Sunday. I picked Sunday cause it's supposed to rain Saturday.

As to the base tour, I can only do sundays.

Okay, I saw the other thread before this one. So it's still 6 pm but the place is downtown. That's fine with me. I'll be there.

As far the tour, why don't we make it the following weekend. Would that be possible Jon ??? Gives people some time to plan and free up. Hopefully they don't ship you out again in the meantime. We can talk about it at our cult gathering .. no coolaid this time, my stomach hurts.

Kneeriders are meeting up the same night in Roseville .. maybe we can ride over there after dinner and say hi. If it's not too late.

Ummmm, so Folsom Island Burger is out...Urban Eats is in. Can someone confirm?

Also for Sunday, forgot to add that the times are flexible!! We can go whenever.

Jovan, next weekend is possible but the odds that I'll be here are very slim. I would end up giving the same amount of notice once I found out I would actually be here. If no one want's to go this weekend that's not a problem and we can just re-set it for the next time I'm home on one, but the amount of notice is alwasy going to be the same. I'll never be in a position to give like two weeks or something like that.

I will try and make it tonight. I talked with Terry last night and he will try to make it tonight also.

Your the boss on this one Galaxy. I'm trying to have the cake and the icing on this deal. If it is possible to re-schedule that would be appreciated from at least my standpoint. My daughter really wanted to go to the airbase and the races as well. Anytime in the near future on a moments notice is fine with me.

I'll see you guys tonight and we can talk about it. Plus, I'll bring my freshly painted number plate scheme tail, it is awesome!

I'll try to stop by at 6:00 for a little while. I have to teach a class at 7:30 and take my son to basketball practice.

I also won't be able to make Sunday either. My other two sons have a track meet...

I can't make it tonight, but I'll see if I'm available on Sunday. Even if I am, I may be riding the Beemer as I have yet to make it down to MotoWheels to get my bike out of Martin's shop. (I'm tryin' Martin -- honest!)

made it back home without getting too cold. great to see faces new and old. enjoyed seeing a sport in the flesh and loved the alloy tank on the monster. since John couldn't ride, he brought a piece of his bike along as the only one there that didn't come on two wheels.

It was good to see old headz and meet new faces. Fun stuff.

We postponed the C-5 tour until next weekend (if Jon is available) or any weekend after he comes back.

Keep in touch people, good weather is here - time to ride. We'll start organizing group rides (without too many stops and too much chatter Nina I think I'll have to organize a little meet and greet bbq deal at my house soon - plenty of parking. I'll keep you posted.

It was a nice spot for a meet up, having the bikes 15' away. I like downtown atmospheres,especially those with many shops and outdoor cafes, reminds me of Italy or France. Thanks Jon for the understanding on the C5A tour, now I can do both (AFM races and the big jet). That Sport model was real cool, fit right into the the scene down there. I gotta get a smaller camera for these events. The Monster Ducati is more appealing to me now for some reason. Must be the thought of the rawness and the wind in your face or something. Jb, thanks for coming down from Hangtown on your Multistruddle. See you all on the big jet tour.

Jovan, you better upgrade your head light, I could barely see you behind me. I just picked up some PIAAs, its not top shelf but a definite improvement.

Glad everyone liked the location!! I love the downtown "feel" also and having the cool parking was definately a plus. Hoped everyone enjoyed the food too, cause if left up to me, I'll pick that spot every time until we get tired of it...he he he!!

Anyways, Misti and I had a blast last night and it was great to see everyone and meet a couple new people. Pretty good turnout for such a short notice event too, I thought. Misti was excited a few girls showed up this time...VERY cool!! I already can't wait for the next one.

You ought to see the girls rail at AFM, one is posted as #513 plate on the DOG website. I'll be watching both gals associated with another website race this Sunday.
