Thanks. Yes this is my method as well. I would imagine it is accurate enough. Just ordered up 8 of those bolts from Fastenal. Shipping was more than the bolts but still all in less than buying 2 from the dealer. And I am sure given their size I will use them in the future on other machines.I have the same issue... what I do is torque the outside bolt correctly and then use an allen wrench to manually push it just a bit more to 'calibrate the fingers' a bit. Then I torque the inside left bolt manually... then redo the outside and inside bolts. I'm sure it's pretty inaccurate but hopefully better than guessing.
