Just thought I would share some interesting info with you. My dealer dynoed their almost brand new SFS (200km old) and their 6 month old 1098S back to back. Whilst I can't remember the numbers, the SFS actually came out on top in power (by like 0.5hp). The 1098 does have slightly higher torque figure. So much for all the talk that 1098 has 5hp more than the SF. Not that 5hp is a big deal, but I wonder if Ducati did this (fudge the numbers) so to protect the sportsbike range? But then again 1098 is superseded and the 1198 is more powerful again so there is no reason to.
