Looking to pick up a new solo tail for my 900ss and I love the style of it plus the storage it offers under the tail. Just seeing if anyone has it and what their feedback was.

Does it have the under seat/frame supports like the Sharkskins one?

I purchased this one at least 10 years ago. They are likely from the same mold and construction these days. I don't see anything like gusseting/bracing for the subframe however, mine has held up fine.

So no problems with not having frame supports? It seams to me that if all the weight of the rider rested just on the mounting holes they would become elongated after a while...unless it was built heavy duty enough of course.

I remember having the same concern when it first arrived. I happened to have the seat off the bike when you first posted and looked at it carefully . There has never been any wear on the mounting point holes. Let me know if you want a confirmation photo.
