That thing looks pretty good, I have a standard disc lock and you definitely aren't rolling the bike anywhere with that thing.

A monster doesn't weigh much though, its still possible for 2 guys to pick it up and put it on a trailer. The alarm would be a good deterrent against that if the bike is stored in an area that there are people around.

A cheaper and probably more secure alternative is to chain the bike to something, but then the chain can always be cut. At the end of the day if someone really wants to steal it, they'll find a way - the best protection is insurance.

i dont know but i got some questions that i always wondered that might help...

where can you hide the alarm on the bike? wires exposed? siren exposed?

if you kill the battery...does the alarm go off?

how effective is the siren if you cover it?

Yeah !! Same questions.
Where can you hide the alarm on the bike? No Hiding - Plainly visible.
Wires exposed? No Wires
Siren exposed? Not much Exposure on sirens
If you kill the battery...does the alarm go off? Cant Access battery as far as I can See. Want to know if someone can figure it out
How effective is the siren if you cover it? - Cant Say unless a user can reply ..
Can Someone disable by wave based disabling methods? Microwave/RF any other ?
Can someone put Duplicate Lock for this easily ?

i got the biggest disc brake (without alarm) and just park it where i can see it...and at home i use my car as a barrier...

and my state farm agent on speed dial...
