voltage max?

I got 64 VAC at 3500 RPM's. If you increase the rpm to 6000 is it possible that the VAC can go as high as 90 vac? I found my notes btw.

I'd assume more revs = more volts given it's a fixed magnet. I have never seen a reference to an upper limit of voltage being a problem when testing factory built stators.

Yup, theoretically, voltage will be proportional to RPM with permanent magnet rotor.
My guess is that you should be able to light up at least 3 100W incandescent bulbs (wired in parallel), if you blip the throttle. This is straight out of the yellow wires, with the RR unplugged. Never tried it (never had the need to).

I missed place my notes so can someone give me a 96 900SS's figures?
Engine off you should see about 12-12.4 at the battery terminals (or even if you tap into the main fuse block input. Once running, the regulator would max it to about 14.2ish (And I would think once you hit 1500rpms you'd be there). (And I'm talking volts DC)
