I've read that the stock oil drain plugs on these bikes are pretty soft, so I'd like to replace it at the next oil change. Anyone know where I can find an aftermarket drain plug for my GT1000?

TIA

Soft as to be sacrificial. Which would you rather replace, your drain plug, or your oil pan?

They don't have to be tighten up too much. The important thing is to replace the crush washer (which is very soft). I don't see why you would need to look for an aftermarket drain plug.

I'm referring to the internal hex head of the drain plug stripping/rounding and becoming difficult to remove.
