I decided to change out the sprockets and chain on my '02 748. When I had my local dealer order the parts, I was suprised by the price... it was low. I told him not to forget the carrier... low and behold, the parts come in, the bike goes down for the install and the phone rings... forgot to order the carrier.

In any case, he quoted me $199 for the carrier and I told him to pound salt. I knew it could be had for less $$. Until I found this on Bike Bandit...

So, anyone know what the deal is? Is there an non-QCC carrier from AFAM? Or is there only 1 carrier from AFAM? I confirmed the price and part with Bike Bandit, but I know everyone here is WAY more knowledgeable....

That is most likely the sprocket only, which doesn't include the carrier. Check out Motowheels for the EVO carrier which accepts the AFAM sprockets.

Well, It looks like I caught their mistake and somebody updated the website. The price is now $166.50 for the carrier. I ordered it for $62, and it still shows as $62 on my order status.

I printed the original receipt and saved it as a file, so I beleive they should honor the price. I know it's back ordered until the 30th, so we'll see what happens.
