Im changing out the GT header pipes. The front cylinder header pipe drags on high speed turns on track which I'm sure instigates a slow slide. So, I have had enough of that and will get total bike clearance, except of course the wheels. You might say, hang off more you lazy bastard but any more hanging I may as well be on a sidecar.
The custom pipe maker is a veteran who knows his game and plans to go steel pipe with a alliuminum colour heat sealer that keeps the heat in the pipe.
He suggests pipe size same as the exhaust port.
What is the theory regarding SC header pipes to get best engine performance.
And does someone have a cheap and cherfull conversion story.
The front pipe will go under the engine. The pipes will be connected to each other but have no O2 sensor because we don't know any better. Two into one is also an option, can't see why not.
