Is there any real harm to adjusting the idle set screw to bring up the idle just a tad??? My 2008 motard is idling at 1,200 to 1500 when just started but once warmed up it's at 1000- 1200 and once in a while it will stall.
If I keep the throttle cracked just a tad all is good and the bike runs great everywhere else in the fuel range. How is adjusting the set screw any different than cracking the throttle a little ???

If you haven't done it, try TB sync and set COs. She may be due for a tune up and currently running a little lean. upping the idle may just mask one symptom.

What is that air/fuel mixture supposed to do? Can you actually feel any difference when you fully close or open it?
