If I wanted to temporarily set the throttle, let's say, 2,600 rpm to do some carb adjustment, do you know of an easy way to hold the throttle position open, other than the idle adjustment screw? BTW it's about 1996-SS.

Other than one of those beautiful Ducati babes I occasionally see surfing the net who would take ahold of the throttle for me. Opps, I let my dark side show again.

Stock everything.

Buy a plastic blade putty knife, cut a notch 1 & 1/16" wide by 2" deep, and wedge it between the twist grip and the throttle cable housing.
Pull to remove.
