You’re assuming he knows how to remove the front seat. It isn’t very intuitive on the 2010-2014 Multistrada.

What? How is it any harder than any other motorcycle made? Find key hole, insert key, remove seat. Ducati.com has the manual you can download in PDF if the PO didn't pass it along.
