Gday, I want one of those screw in fuel caps for my 999R, are Hong Kong ones ok, or do I need to pay the extra for the better quality item. Im thinking how hard is to make a cap with an oring.

Funny, all that commentary about the SSR product... I just bought one last week for a spare tank. I guess SSR fixed the tool mark issue, mine has no visible tool marks. Ironcally, the $300+ DP cap on my stock tank has worse tool marks than the other poster's SSR cap

Very happy with the fit, finish and overall quality of the Motocorse fuel cap. Reasonable price too, especially compared to DP. www.motocorse.net They're buried under Tank Plugs and then you need to hit next to get to the 999 version.

I have a black Fast by Ferracci half-twist cap, you know made in Italy. They have several variations such as carbon fiber w/ a gold cap, locking cap.....mine has "Fast by Ferracci" scripted in white on the cap. Really nice, about $95.
