Ok Just going to change the pirellis my secondhand bike came with.
I will be buying pilot powers as they were great on my 900ss.
The thinking on the rear seems to be the 180 route, any comments/experience to share?
The power also comes with a 65 profile option for the front.
Any comments on this as well.

With a quick search, I think you'll find more threads on this topic than you can shake a stick at. But then, you could shake a stick at a lot of threads. Why you would want to shake a stick at these threads is your business. It also sort of depends on how big a stick you are shaking. A small stick, shaken vigorusly (with great vigor) would cover more threads than a large, slow stick, like a branch or what not.

Remember, it's not the size of the stick...

The general consensus is Pilot Powers rock best in a 120/70 front and the 180/55 rear for your 999.

People here try to help. If you feel the need to make ironic comments about the help you get, then no further help will me givven, since all the thanks they get is an ironic comment.

Besides that, LOOK at the READ BEFORE YOU POST thread before posting. Having multiple threads on the same subject is confussing to all of us. Stating openly that you haven´t done a search isn´t a very good answer.

I'd like to respond to chuckracer and offer my apoligies.
It was just that the link didn't work, hence the haha's at the end of my post.
No offence, ironic or otherwise was ment.
I also hadn't seen any posts re 65 Vs 70 profile.
My addmitance to not searching was tongue in check in much the same way Chuckracer was being re 'stick's' etc.
