If I do a ride of, say, 400 km on my 999 I've got to crack the bleed screw and let the air out. It's fitted with remote canisters, but it was the same issue before these. It doesn't seem to use fluid, and I'm not getting any leakage under the slave. I read somewhere, I think, that the master can suck air in past the buckets, but.....

Any suggestions?

Regards, Greg

I’m sure I read somewhere that someone replaced the master piston assembly with a similar but not the same assembly and it fixed it. I just can’t find that post....

You could try replacing the bleed valves. They have been known to leak air around the threads — but it's probably the master cylinder.

I might do both. Does anyone know the part numbers? And does anyone know an alternate piston kit part number that will fit? Regards, Greg

Fuck them off and get some proper brembo radials. You’ll never look back. I know out exchange is crappy but look at is an investment. Can be transferred to other homes if needed.
