Hi,
Prior to installing a Power Commander III my bike started with relative ease, now its reluctant to kick over from cold or if it has been sittin stationary.

Has anyone else experienced this?
Any clues what to look for?

I'd first unplug the PC from the bike, and see if that cures the problem. If it doesn't I'd look at the plugs first.

I have the same bike and have had start issues since I bought the bike. The bike turns over endlessly in cold conditions with no start. I had a supersport and it had the same issue. I had the fuel pressure regulator replaced and the bike started first shot every time.

And two more things:
* Check grounding on the PC. Very frequent problem.
* Check the values on the PC map to see that it isn´t leaned too much at idle.

What do you think, maybe increase the 1500rpm range one or two points?

Got it...
Richened from 0 to 10% throttle position and the RPM Range up to 2500rpm,
by up to 10 points on the PCIII map. Also cut the Accelerator Pump back to 7% Fuel.

Excellent response, just love the fact you can fine tune it yourself with a laptop.... Brilliant.

Tuning a PC yourself and going by "the seat in your pants" is an easy way to get a moderate change, but you really need a Dyno and Lambda´s to do it right.

I just advanced my inlet timing to 90 degress (stock is 100), so I´m going of to the dyno ASAP!
