Hi all,

I need help with front brake pads for a 1998 916 sps.

I bought some Ferodo FDB2042 series brake pads that were recommended by the dealer.

When I checked the Ferodo website it only mentions a 1997 sps and recommends FRP408 series brake pads.

The bike is at a friends place a long way away so can't check.

Can anyone confirm I have purchased the correct brake pads?

The FDB2042 Pads have two pin mountings one pin each end of the pad.

The FRP408 Pads have just one mounting pin in the middle.

I have a 1998 sps and it has the FDB2042 TYPE PADS.
