I had to replace the oil cooler on my 98 916. the jerk I bought it from had it mounted without the benefit of the rubber bushings and one of the mounting tabs broke. It also leaked. I noticed the front fairing has a little pin molded into it that fits, according to the parts fiche, in a rubber bushing that fits into the lower tab on the oil cooler. My dealer gave me a part that will not fit here; it is supposed to be a replacement for the numbered part on the fiche. It isn't. Any advice what to use here?

thanks

If you mean the rubber bushing, I believe it is just a rubber Grommet as used by electricians, so you could get one from any electrical store.

BTW some of the C/F v-pieces don't have the pin moulded into them (my DP part doesn't). :)
