A new sensor from Ducati is mucho $$$. I notice Harley has a Magnetti Spaghetti TPS sensor just like Ducati, and it is only $42. Does anyone know if this is a bolt on sensor? I have a Motec on my bike, so the calibration isn't an issue. I have a strange non-linearlity in the current sensor I am trying to fix. The sensor output doesn't change for about 10% of the range in the 70 to 80% TPS range. Not good for good corner exit!!!

Help appreciated.

Throttle sensor

I got the Drag Specialties (Harley) throttle sensor. It is a Magnetti Marelli unit sold under Drag Specialties. $45 to my door. I installed it and found that the voltage output is lower across the range. Thus for those of you with Power Commanders and other such tuning devices, you could use this cheaper sensor ($230 cheaper), and shift your existing fuel map down to account for the sensor offset. I did this in my Motec and my issues appear to be solved.

The Harley sensor isn't slotted for adjustment, but it could be if you took the time. Then you may not need to do any recalibration. Not sure.

Just and FYI for those of you that want to save a buck on the sensor and don't mind doing a little calibration work.
