Hey there

Anyone here running a 900ss at SMSP? What gearing are u using?

What is the effect (if any) on engine breaking by changing the gearing?

considering a slipper clutch (mainly for turn 2 and 8)... thoughts?

First day back post covid I’m sitting on 2.mins even... fully aware the biggest gains are to be made from me and not the bike... (I’m a bit scrappy at 6 and 9 and 10). Bike is pretty much stock except for suspension set up for my weight - (slicks May be on the cards, curious to try them to see how they feel)

Goal is mid 1:50s

when we used to fit 14 tooth front sprockets some owners would say they'd hit the limiter in top, so i expect you'd need 15/40 as a starting point. if it hits the limiter in top down the front re-gear or back off. depends how much that worries you.

raising the idle speed will help stop locking the rear going into corners, but nothing will work like a good slipper.
