Wow, some great looking bikes here! I hope mine gets back together and looks this good. I have # 71 with just over 6,000 miles and currently fixing weather exposure issues. Every bolt on the bike is currently getting replaced due to corrosion. It needs tires, belts, and a slave cylinder rebuild before I hit the road with it for the first time.
yes, great bike! I truly appreciate the opportunity to own the bike.
as I understand the story..
the original owner had it for a bit, then sold it to a buddy in NC, then bought it back. after awhile, the guy before me had bought the bike. then last year I had the opportunity to get the bike.
i think its changed hands 5 times between 4 owners.
i'd love to learn more about the bike.
on a side note, i'm thinking possibly of having Nichols go thru the bike this coming winter. maybe big bore kit, head work, etc.
Been commuting on Suzuki GSX1000S for 4 years and put 60k miles on it. Before that had Honda CB and kawa. Never rode Ducati before.
Switched to 2019 Supersport S and had my first ride today. 40miles/50min trip.

Might be a stupid noob question but I really don't know much about electronics so...
Which wires should I use to lengthen the wires coming from an Ignitech ignition?
I forgot to ask for a longer wire harnass when I ordered the Ignitech and now the wires are just a few centimeters to short to...
Just checking to see what others are doing with their bikes right now.
Since mine is new and I'm going down the customization path (busted up side fairings makes this easier than it would be if they were pristine), I'm doing maintenance, reading up on things I don't know about (plenty) and...
Found underneath the bike when reinstalling the carbs. Looks like it might be some kind of guide/retainer for the over/under throttle cables. But, can't find it in the parts diagrams, and can't figure out how it might be installed.
