will a 900ss exhaust fit on a 1000ds motor? Trying to decide early if I want to swap in a 1000ds motor when I rebuild my 95 900. I Have the D&D spaghetti system for a 900, if that exhaust won't fit a 1000ds, I probably won't go with the ds motor.

When I put the 1000DS motor into my 01 900SSIE I used the 900 exhaust, stock, the 900 ECU and all the stock injectors etc. The only thing I didn't use were the cans. I put some aftermarket ones on. I just dropped the frame on the new engine and hooked it all up. The only thing that does not work is the neutral light.

After digging around in the garage I realized I did not use the 900 pipes but some different ones for the 1000ds motor. I feel bad that I put something up here that was wrong. Sorry folks.
