Hi all,

i'm interested in GILLES TOOLING Yokes and Variobar Handlebar for my 1997 900 SS CR ( gilles.tooling - Shop )

But from GILLES they write me what below...anyone know the answer??? tks!

"unfortunately, we have neither fittet the FO.ONE nor the Variobar for your bike. If you knew that there were no changes in the dimension regarding the spots where you mount our parts, compared to the later model of the 900ss, you could order those parts. For your bike specifically, we can't guarantee the fitting from our state of knowledge.
Maybe you consult someone who is familiar with both, the '97 and the '98 900ss.

50 mm handlebar clamps, 50 mm top and 54 mm bottom triple clamps on all 1992-1998 Supersports, as far as I know.

Find your specs and or measure for fittment.

I'd be careful with that assumption because I believe that Europe got the new IE style before NorthAmerica so the Gilles reference to 1998+ is likely the IE style where bar mounts above the triple clamp. Having said that both should use a 50mm clamp for the clipons.
