Is the 851s suspension the same as the early Monster, or is it just similar in design? Are the parts interchangable?

I believe the later >91/92 USD 851's were - but the shock length is different, all the linkage & swing arm was the same as the 900 monster.....UKMOC might have more info......or the DSC?
