On a ride last week, the instrument panel and headlight on my 848 died. When I cut the bike off then restarted it, they came but but died again a few minutes later.

The tail lights and a smaller light on the front stayed on but the turn signals didn't work when they went out.

Any ideas on diagnosing and fixing?

first thing I would do is check all connections clean/apply electrical grease and clean all grounds. sounds like a loose connection though.

I think so- less than 6K miles and it's an '08 . . . .I don't remember the warranty terms offhand, tho.

Not yet, PTree . . . got a DM that is is probably a voltage regulator, for which there is a warranty fix. I'm planning to call a dealer today.
