Hi,
I understand that due to the position of the exhaust on the 848 evo that it generates a lot of heat on the leg area.

My question is how would I go about protecting my legs from the heat of the exhaust during traffic riding days? Are their heat shields I can buy or do I need to invest in heat resistant apparel?

Thanks

Hiya,

I would suggest removing & wrapping the exhausts themselves, this would keep the heat in the exhaust & not so much in your inner-leg area? I test-rode a Pani earlier this year & found them to be extremely toasty when warmed up?!

Wrapping best done when the pipes are off the bike, is a fiddly job to do right & the bandage has to be soaked in water before so it expands & shrinks later for a tight fit.

Also saves you the faff of having to clean your exhausts later :D
