Just had this changed from the stock 15 tooth. It's like having a new bike. What were the Italians thinking?!

I had the 14t sprocket put on before i picked up the bike from the dealer. Not having experienced the stock gearing, I still think it's a bit sensitive when taking off in first gear. I actually counted the teeth to make sure the dealer made the switch. Must of been real bad stock. With the 14 on my monster, it pulls away with almost no throttle. I guess the bike isn't really meant to do anything below 3500 rpm or so.

When I changed mine it was like a new bike... really responsive...hella fun, kind of want to do the 520 conversion and change the rear sprocket too... with the 14 tooth front top speed is 159 tho.

Yes. My mechanic did it in 25 minutes for $45. You need a new o-Ring, per the manual.
