I just got my bike back from the 7500 mile service. I have a Leo Vince cat delete with stock cans, Rexxer reflash with O2 sensors removed and a 14 tooth sprocket. I'm pretty happy with the results considering the dyno was performed at a mile above sea level.

I guess the LV decat and KN filter doesn't really add that much.

where would you say should one be for maximum power—6500 where the max torque is or higher where it's closer to max HP? Seat-of-the-pants says 6500.

Got my bike from the dyno and the bike is silky smooth (as smooth as a twin could be). Looking at some of the other number produced by other 796ers Im fairly happy with the power results but I have to say the lower rpms are way more usable and smooth no more learching or jerking in city traffic. Im very happy with that part.

how come it only starts at 3000rpm? i guess we can only squeeze so much out of that engine.

Oh and another note, I rode all day today and im getting 20 more kilometers before my fuel light comes on. I thought Id be wasting more gas but maybe my bike was just running horribly before the dyno.
Did you get tuning done with the dyno? Or just got it to see your specs? If so do you think it was worth the money to get it tuned..
