I have 04 749S that I have been running 14 front and 41 rear with this combination I can hammer it good with no slip. I'm needing a new set and I'm looking to down gear.

I found it useful when I was looking to change the gearing on my ST.
Do you have the standard throttle? If you want to go "quicker", a quarter turn throttle will help you get up in the revs more easily. Also, if you're changing the gearing pair the front and rear sprockets so they're not easily divisible. Go for 43 or 45 if you're running a 14 tooth front.
i too am looking for a quicker sprocket setup, currently running the standard 749s setup, however i have done the R6 throttle tube mod and that has made a massive difference.
Where do you get non-standard sprockets? I have been looking for my basic 749 '04 (stock chain 525, sprockets f 14t/r 38t) a larger rear sprocket (the recommended 43t) but could only find large 43t sprockets for 520 chains. I would rather use 525 chains just to be extra safe.
