anyone ever done this ? anything i should be aware of in 748 and 749 differences. ive got a stock non slipper in my 748 , been eyeing a new 48 tooth yoyo, but a used 749r might be a lot cheaper

Should be a direct bolt on.

Once had a 748R slipper on my, then , 999S. straight fit.

Ya, i put a 749R slipper on my 748, works fine, no issues.
