Bought a used Evoluzion slipper. Got a good grade from pro mechanic and was installed. From a standstill it is really grabby if you try a quick launch. At speed no problems. Is this a characteristic of slipper clutches or is it bunk or requiring adjustment? Seems bad to me. HELP!

It's usually the plates. To me, the best feeling/smoothest engagement have been Ducati OEM and Surflex plates
Do you think it will mellow. The clutch had 600 miles on it. Like I said it seems fine shifting at speed up and down. It's just a bit lurchy and sounds disconcerting. It's a track only bike so I'm not worried about stop and start too much. Any way thanks for chiming in.

In my experience, ALL Ducati dry clutches can be grabby during quick launches, regardless of manufacturer, slipper/nonslipper, etc. If anything, it gets worse with age/wear.
