okay, the time has finally come to change tires on my 748..currently running pirelli "Dragon EVO" 120/60 on the front.
Ive read some posts saying its beneficial to go with a 120/70 instead of the 60 for various reasons.
Has anyone tried a 120/65 ? I noticed some manufacturers are offering them. Also there seem to be plenty of threads about track tires etc. but in this tough economy , im looking for something with some durability as well ..i dont do track days. Im thinking Bridgestone BT 016 since theyre the least expensive tireset i could find at indysuperbikes.com...any suggestions ?

Thanks !

I'm a big fan of the Pirelli Diablo Strada tires. they grip very well and last a long time. great tire.

My opinion; You should go with a 120/70 tire. They are taller so you will want to compensate by raising the rear ride height or lowering the front, but the tread surface usually has a much better shape than the /60's - more triangulated. I believe once the bike is set up for the tire, you will like it.
