Any one had this convertion done to the hypermotard 821 it is worth it, any gain in performance.

Less rotational mass = reduced power loss from crank to rear wheel. Haven't done it on my 939 but it's on the to-do list

For a street bike with a mediocre rider, which 99% of people are whether you want to agree or not, you will not notice any difference except increased service intervals for the chain and sprockets since they are not as durable as 525 sized components.

If you are tracking the bike with a high skill level and looking for that last minimal gain then spend money on a 520 kit if your factory components are through their life.
