I just finished servicing my 91 900ss. Re-lap valves, decarbon heads, checked guides, new valve seals, mbp collets, hand fit all shims, all closers 0-.0005, cam seals, belts, plugs, factory pro ti jet kit & emulsion tubes, Nichols breather. I have put over 23000 mile on the bike myself I am the second owner. The dealer did the all services before. Unit I check valve clearance to save some money and found the closer were .005-.007 (dealer adjusted valves 6000 mile ago) that when I decided no one care about mt bike more than me so I did the service it has never run this strong and smooth no more carb pop just off idle 1500-1700 I not sure which thing made the biggest difference because so my thing I found were wrong but it truly runs like it is new
