2019 Ducati Hypermotard 950 Rearsets and other Mods

Post a link if you find any. The shift lever on the 2019 950 is different than the 939. New designs will be required.

I’ve been looking as well but nothing yet. I’ve talked to CNC Racing and they said they are working on it but no dates yet.

The Zeta handguards are installed on both sides. Now I am thinking I need the carbon fiber shields.

That would require a set of aftermarket LED indicators.

Not at all in love with the stock mirrors. Considering a set of mirrors with integrated signals such as the:

Those would look odd on a hyper with off road handguards.

I had a set of LED Kiwav mirrors on a Panigale 959. Quality stuff. The really cheap ebay stuff is not at all similar to OEM quality.

I found it hard to reach the rear brake toe piece to apply adequate braking force.

The stock lever has some limited height adjustment. I maximized brake pedal height using the set screw, and I turned out the brake master pushrod a full 7 turns to max the engagement of the rear brake to occur as soon as possible with pedal depression. (see pics )

I went the woodcraft eccentric folding toe peg route to modify the brake lever.

This mod was pretty easy to do. It allowed me to find the perfect position for the toe piece, and will fold rather than bend or break in case the bike goes down.

The woodcraft toe piece is mounted with a single bolt through the brake lever. It also has a positioning pin, so in addition to cutting off the stock toe piece and drilling out a primary mounting hole, I had to drill another small hole for the positioning pin.

Looks OK and solved my ergonomic issues. The toe piece is now both closer to and higher up in relation to the foot peg.

Foot pegs need to be changed to more road bike typical pegs. These pegs interfere with my movement around the bike and towards the foot controls.

I removed the passenger pegs and peg mounting frames and replaced the front pegs with the passenger pegs.

Tricky on the right side because the clutch case prevents the pin from coming out.

Update: This mod works. Just got back from a ride and these pegs make moving around the saddle much more fluid. I can easily move my feet on the pegs and lean off sportbike style with the familiar point of the peg on the ball of the foot feeling.

Great idea to swap the pegs. On my 939 passenger pegs are the same as rider’s but both are better with the rubber removed but not as good as my grippy DP pegs with the knob on the end. I’m a bit jealous at how good it looks with rear passenger mounts removed...not an option for me as they are 1 piece. They do however make an excellent frame slider/Termi exhaust protector.

I really needed the toe peg on the shifter lever to be closer to the foot peg. I found myself having to slide my foot too far forward to complete shifting.

Since there does not seem to be any aftermarket shifter levers out there yet, I just bolted on an additional toe peg to the lever, giving me the proper distance for my comfort.

Franken-Hyper.

Function over beauty. Works great.

Looking at the picture, it does not seem to be the same shift lever configuration (left side) as on the stock bike. Not sure how this will work. Picture is probably wrong because ducabike does make a gear shifter pedal for the 950.

Found these heel guards. I really need these, having removed the passenger pegs, I keep melting my right boot heel on the exhaust!

Got these in the mail today.

They do not work for me at all. Heavy, ugly, and restrict my ability to move about the pegs. If you never move your feet, these may work for you.

If anyone wants them, They are yours for 50% of what I paid for them plus shipping. PM me.

Nice looking but I wish the adapter portion came in silver. Probably should have purchased the black pegs.

The black adapter is anodized, not painted so it scratches down to bare metal easily and that looks ugly.

Road test to follow.

The ones I have fit flush. The pegs are not angled upwards. Part number 96280532A

Perhaps you installed the springs backwards? The springs look fine in your picture.

Ah well that explains it, they gave me 96280531A instead of 2A. I'll have to get that swapped out from the dealer. Thanks!
