Sadly it seems I am part of the group, my 2020 base model has stalled out more times then I care to admit. I imagine I will pull the tb's myself. Dealer is a couple hours away, and always say they are booked months out.
Genius! I will be trying some Lucas Oil stuff and hope for results like yours. Selling this bike, or not buying it in the first place, not an option. Nothing like a Hyper!FWIW some strategies for those having this as a recurring issue...
I had this issue early on and have not had it for over 10K miles since a throttle body and injector cleaning. Same original tank on my 2019 SP.
Fill the tank to the top after each ride. I think having the fuel volume at max capacity dilutes whatever junk may get dissolved.
Add a fuel additive to combat the ethanol in your fuel. Something that increases lubricity with TC-W3 such as

I use this in a 4 gallons of gas to 1 ounce of oil in the fuel mix. Basically I add one ounce of the stuff to the tank every time I fill it up.
Been testing Oil
you guys know I test constantly and oil/tribology is my thing so here goes. I know the gasoline today is shit. Very dry and poor quality. Throw inwww.ls1.com
The problem has not come back even with the original tank.
Not sure if those two actions help, purely speculation my anecdotal case study.
That is good news, for you. I hope yours stays stall free.Hey guys, I used to have the stalling problem on my 2019 hypermotard 950. It was annoying as hell and every time it happened it always gave me starting issues. It would always start but it took a few tries.
I learned 2 things and it has cleared up the issue.
1. Always use non ethanol gas. I sometimes I might not start my bike for a month. And when I have the chance I might drive it everyday for a week.
2. This bike runs awesome when the engine gets up to temp. You gotta let it warm up and I have no issues.
Owning a Ducati is no different than having a high maintenance wife or a supermodel girlfriend. You gotta give them attention and spend money on them. If you can’t afford one buy Japanese. They don’t require as much attention or maintenance but you’ll never get the attention, looks, or compliments as you do on your Italian Ducati. And if your really into self punishment buy a Ferrari!!!!!
