2018 Hyper red

I’ve recently purchased 2018 hypermotard, this is my first Ducati I’ve owned, and I’m having issues with it. It has 4400 miles on, stock bike with a akro slip-on and rexxer flash.

When I test rode the bike it starts, idles, etc.. just fine. I struggled a bit with the ride by wire but managed a test ride without difficulty.
One thing I immediately noticed was how rough it rode at low rpm’s, lot of blubbering, popping, stumbling. Once I could open it up a bit, it would hit a false rev limiter between 7700-8000 rpm. At first I thought maybe it was dirty speed sensors and was setting off the dtc. I changed to different rider modes and it did the same thing.
I went ahead and bought the bike thinking it was a bad clutch switch. I looked into that a bit with the wiring and noticed 1 of the wires were broke. I looked up how to bypass the switch, so I did by connecting the 2 wires together and soldering then shrink wrap.
Still does the same thing, pops, stumbles, surges.
I researched more and noticed the bike still had the evap canister as well as ais. I ditched that and still, same thing. I also installed new plugs and a sprint air filter.
I don’t have any dash lights indicating issues
Blubbers, stumbles, surges and won’t rev beyond 8k rpm.
I called the dealer that installed the rexxer and asked about their flash and if they set rpm limits, to which I was told no, they don’t change red line settings.
I also had an email chat with the gentlemen at rexxer and he said he doest adjust rpm limits.

given what I’ve said here, any suggestions?
It also still has the oe ignition coils, which I’ve read, the way to go is with the coils from a 1098, 1198, aprilia, etc.. bad thing is I can’t find them new.

nobody has input on this?
None of my Ducs like being lugged around at low RPM... they're much happier at 4-7K.
get the rexxer people to put the original mapping back in it and see if it's still crap. take it to someone with diagnostics to find out if/what's wrong with it.

i'd guess i'm typically in the 4500 and above rpm, but it's a very small window when the limiter kicks in at 7700. BTW, what are these supposed to rev to from the factory? I can't really find any info on factory redline.

I'll do that and hope they don't decide to bend me over in the process because i'm having them re-flash the bike.
any tips on where to find the eldor coils? The only ones I can find are old and used from ebay.
are there other coils that can be purchased new that'll be an upgrade from the OE coils which seem to be prone to shorting out the dash and cooking the ECU?
1) There are not enough miles on that bike to have something wrong with the ignition.
2) Stop chasing ghosts and get the machine back to baseline.
3) Lean how the open and closed loop emission system works.

You were given recent advice in the newbie thread. Go back and read it then talk to a qualified Ducati mechanic. It is painful to watch someone buying useless parts and wasting time.

Noted! Thanks for the advice. I'll get it to the dealer and have them dump that flash.
question for y'all. On the rapid bike website they have the hyper listed as 821/939, which I assume means they use the same unit and part number. Anybody know if a powercommander from a 821 will fit and function correctly on a 939? I'm very familiar with the tuning and function of the power commander, whereas I've never touched a rapidbike module.
Went to the dealer and had the bike flashed back to stock. Definitely runs better, rev limiter is now at 8k instead of 7700. Still not sure what happening there?
Next step is a rapid bike and get the afr dialed in.
