What brand of top box? The base plate for that box will need to mount a bracket, Ducati makes one for the Givi bags, SW-Motech also makes a mounting base for Givi bags.

Either of the mounts mentioned will work with the Ducati box. I think the Ducati mount looks better but it's a little more involved and $$ than the SW Motech. Instructions attached.

Instructions are for the '15+ 1200 but it is the same kit for the '18+ 1260.
