I have done some searching here but can't find anything for this year. Seen a lot of results for pre-2014 and the new 1260's. I am not sure if the bars are any different.

I've looked at the usual suspects:

GIVI
SWMOTECH
TOURATECH
ALTRIDER
PUIG

Any reccomendations at all? Thanks in advance!

I put the AltRider bars on my 16 PP.
Fit and finish are good. Easy install.
I got the sliders as well. Quality products.

I have a 2016 MTS 1200S and had the dealer install Touratech crash bars. I can speak from experience (and embarrassment) they fully protected the bike in a tipover. Not a scratch. (I also have Barkbusters on the grips which helped protect the turn signals and mirrors.)

jep same here, slipped on wet leaves in the dark with my front wheel, so the bike came down hard, Touratech crashbar protected the bike/engineand took the biggest hit so it was slightly bend, so job done!

Only the barand mirror got scratched and the handguard broke.

sw mo is what i use and its strong.

had a low side once and scratched it. now its painted and looks great.

the low side also scratched my handlebar slider. and took a few mm of my foot brake lever and slightly scratched my footpeg.

other than that no damage.
